What are the signs made out of?
Our signs are crafted from high-quality metals - aluminium, corten steel and stainless steel.
Our materials offer durability and a touch of elegance to your residential or commercial decoration needs.

What's the difference between aluminium with powder coating, brushed stainless steel and corten steel signs?
Brushed stainless steel and corten steel are raw finishes. We do not add any additional coatings to the manufacturing process.
Our aluminium signs are coated with a powder coating colour of your choosing. The powder coating provides both aesthetic customisation to your products, as well as protection and durability.

Are the signs appropriate for outdoor use?
Absolutely! Our signs are made to endure the Aussie outdoors. Constructed from metal, they're tough against the elements, ensuring longevity. Perfect for both indoor and outdoor settings, they're built to withstand whatever the weather throws at them.
Do you make acrylic signs? Isn't acrylic a cheaper material?
Ivory Mylk does not cut acrylic (perspex) material.
Although acrylic is a more economical material option, it has a limited life span in comparison to the aluminium, corten steel and stainless steel options in our range.
How can I choose the finish/colour of my sign?
Our standard finishes are displayed on the product page.
To make the best choice, consider creating contrast with your intended background and try to complement the external architectural elements of your home, like the front door, window frames, guttering, or roof tiles. Plus, don't forget, we also offer a fully customisable sign option - our Luxe Custom Signs, where we can collaborate to match your preferred style/design with a broader range of powder-coated colour options.
Can I receive finish/colour samples before purchasing?
We're currently in the process of creating a finish sample pack for our store.
This will allow you to experience firsthand the various finish options available and get a feel for the sign depth. Keep an eye out for updates, as we'll be introducing this feature soon to enhance your decision-making process.
How do I attach my sign to the wall/fence?
Easy as pie! For a sturdy and easy install, we recommend construction adhesive, such as liquid nails. You can find more detailed instructions on our installation page. It's a hassle-free way to ensure your sign stays securely in place no matter what.
How large are the signs?
We offer a variety of sizes to cater to different preferences and requirements, depending on the style you're after.

What is corten steel? How does it rust?
Corten steel (COR-TEN) is a weathering steel known for its distinctive rusted appearance over time.
When exposed to the elements, corten steel undergoes a natural oxidation process, forming a protective layer of rust on its surface known as the "seal".
Corten steel seals and weathers best when repeatedly exposed to moisture and allowed to dry.
It's important to note that our corten steel signs are not pre-aged; so your sign will be delivered as new, looking different from the traditional raw appearance which will develop over time.
Depending on the climate and placement of your sign, there may be slight rust runoff, especially if the sign is in direct contact with a surface. If this is a concern, applying penetrol, available from hardware stores, can seal out moisture and prevent rust stains.
Alternatively, you can speed up the ageing process by regularly spraying the sign with a saltwater or bleach solution, allowing it to dry each time.
Do you make gold brass signs?
We currently don't offer brass as a material option.
However, an alternative option is choosing our gold power coating! We can get the same luxe effect on our aluminium signs.

Order & Payment
How to order?
For our Ready Made Signs, they're ready to go! Just select your number, choose your size and finish, and add it to your cart.
With Custom Sign Range, you will have to let us know your house number (and street name if applicable) by filling out that information on the ordering page, and select your preferred size and finish.
Need something a little (or a lot) more personalised? Our Luxe Custom Sign option is for you. Just give us a description of your requirements (such as size, colour and what you want it to look like), include a photo or design file if you have one and then add it to your cart.
For our Luxe Custom range, a $300 deposit is required up front to secure your spot in our production line and a team member will reach out to you within 48 business hours to get to ball rolling on your design.
How can I pay?
Payment can be made through our secure payment system by following the prompts on the website.
We accept Visa/Mastercard, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay and ShopPay.
How long do custom orders take?
Currently, our lead time for our standard signs is approximately 1 week.
Creating custom orders involves extra time for design, production, and quality control. The timeframe for completing a custom order depends on the design's complexity and our current workload.
Rest assured, we'll give you an estimated production time when you make your custom order.
How long before I receive my order?
The delivery time for your order will depend on various factors, including the complexity of your custom sign and the shipping destination.
Our current lead time for our Ready Made Signs is 1 week. For our custom range, we will let you know the processing timeframe once we receive your order and confirm your design.
If you require faster service, let us know and we are more than happy to see if we can meet your requirements.
Shipping & Delivery
Where are you located?
Our workshop and warehouse is located on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.
How much is shipping? Do you offer express shipping?
We offer free standard shipping on all orders within Australia.
Please contact us if you wish to utilise express shipping options.
Can I pick up my sign?
Yes, if you prefer to pick up your sign rather than having it shipped, we offer a pickup option in you're a Sunshine Coast local.
During the checkout process, you can choose the pickup option. We will notify you when your order is ready for pickup, either via email or SMS.
What happens if my order is not delivered?
Typically, Australia Post ensures prompt delivery, often within five days of dispatch and occasionally the very next day (depending on the destination).
If your sign hasn't arrived, consider checking your post office, as it might be awaiting collection, and a notification card may have been left in your letterbox.
Please inform us if the sign hasn't arrived. It's worth noting that delivery issues are rare for us. Our business relies on effective delivery, and we meticulously hand-pack each order to ensure its safe and timely arrival. Your satisfaction is our priority.

Do you ship internationally?
If you are outside of Australia, please contact us to discuss international shipping options as price will be dependent on location.
Returns
What is your return policy?
If a sign has a manufacturing defect we are happy to refund the purchase price or remake the sign for you.
The customer must pay return postage. The sign must be returned within 2 weeks.
Please note that we do not accept returns for signs that are unsuitable due to the selections made (finish, size, typos) by the customer.
